Abstract

1* Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan farida@poltekba.ac.id Abstract 1 The study amis at developing the competence-based participative Training model at SMK Panca Dharma Balikpapan. Developing the competence-based participative Training model is a developing of a model to improve the knowledge and competence of students which a researceh and Development (R&D), which refers to ADDIE Development model, namley: (1) analysis phase is to determine appropriate problems and Solutions to determine the competence that must be possessed by the problems students, (2) design phase, whice is the conceptual steps, collection of material, model design, and training model as well as evaluation tools, (3) develompmet step, which is the arrangements of syllabus, lesson plan, job sheet, manual book of the model, and modul used in training, (4) implementation step, which is conducted competence-based training model at the training session of making noodles in various colors, and (5) evaluation step, conducted evaluation on the implementation of the training. All of the predesign is validated by the assessors and is comfirmed as valid, afterwards, it is tested, one to one test, small group test, conducted in culinary departemen at SMK Panca Dharma Balikpapan. Data is analyzed using descriptive statistics analysis.
