Abstract

The study aims at examining (1) the development stages of android-based, learning on Computer and Basic Network learning subject, (2) students’ response at SMKN 2 in Wajo on application learning in Computer and Basic Network learning subject, (3) the validity practicality, and effectioviness of android-based learning application in Computer and Basic Network learning subject. This study is development research which focuses to develop android-based learning media application in Computer and Basic Network learninf subject, particulary IP address material using several software, namely ionic, node.js, nps, cordova, text editor, web browser, KineMaster, and Adobe illustrator as learning media application. The learning application developed was validated by two assessors of media expert and two assessors of material experts, thus, it obtained feasible product to be applied. The test of learning application development was conducted twice, namely small group test and large group test. The result of the study several that android-based learning in Computer and Based Network learning subject, practiculary IP address material after being validated was stated as valid. The learning application was stated as practical because students’ response on learning application developed was in good category. The learning pplication was stated as effective because the learning application in computer number system material. The conclusions of the study are (1) the learning application is stated as valid based on the validation analysis result assessed by media and material experts, (2) the learning application developed is practical based on students and teacher’s response on learning application, and (3) the learning application is effectiove based on the improvement of learning outcomes in pre-test and post-test.
