Abstract

ABSTRACK This study aims to determine the relationship between 1. Nutritional status of class XI students of the Catering Service Expertise Package at SMK Negeri 8 Makassar based on anthropometric measurements, 2. Nutritional status of grade XI students in the Catering Service Expertise Package at SMK Negeri 8 Makassar based on Hemoglobin / iron test, 3. Descriptions of the learning achievement of the eleventh grade students of the Catering Services Expertise package of culinary services package at SMK Negeri 8 Makassar, 4. Influence of nutritional status on the learning achievement of students of class XI of the Catering Service Expertise Package at SMK Negeri 8 Makassar. To achieve this goal, selected type of Multiple Regression research or multiple regression where the data to be taken includes independent variables (X), namely anthropometric measurement, hemoglobin measurement (iron), and diet (breakfast). seen from the results of daily test scores. The location in this study is students in class XI of the Catering Services Expertise Package at SMK 8 Makassar. The results of the data analysis showed that: (1) Nutritional status of the eleventh grade students of the catering service package at SMK Negeri 8 Makassar based on measurements of height according to age and body weight according to age increased after the study compared with the previous treatment group, there was a change in nutritional status in the control group one student was reduced and increased to an ideal status, while the treatment group changed to less nutritional status as many as four students became ideal. (2) Nutritional status of class XI students of SMK Negeri 8 Makassar based on laboratory tests on hemoglobin increased after the study compared with the previous treatment groups and control groups and a higher increase in the treatment group. (3) The learning achievement of the eleventh grade students of the culinary service package at SMK Negeri 8 Makassar increased after the study compared to the previous treatment groups and the control group and a higher increase in the treatment group both in theory and practice. (4) There is an influence of nutritional status on the learning achievement of the eleventh grade students of the catering service package of SMK Negeri 8 Makassar in the treatment group was higher (19.3%) compared to the control group (3.5%).
