Abstract
Abstract: This study aims to: 1) know the state of the quality of soul and character of students at SMAN Makassar, 2) the effect of the quality of soul of the character of the students at SMAN Makassar, 3) acquiring the formulation of draft models based therapies spiritual for students of SMAN of Makassar approach used in this study is a quantitative approach and supported by qualitative data The subjects were 400 students in ten SMAN in Makassar For FGD participants consisted of 10 participants from public teachers, religious teachers, Guidance and Counseling ieachers,Data were analyzed using regression analysis using SPSS 22. The results showed that 1) Quality of Soul students consisting of 152 or (38%) are in low category, there are 206 or (51.5%) are in the medium category, and only 42 or (10.5%) at the high category. As for the character of the students shows that there are 104 or (26%) are in the low category, there are 263 or (65.75%) are in the medium category and only 33 or (8:25%) are in the category tinggi.2). There is a significant influence on the character of Quality of Soul Students with significant value 0.000, p <0.000 with a correlation value (R) of 0722 and determinants' coefficient (R Square) of 0.596 or 59.6%. 3). Composed draft model of spiritual based therapy to improve the quality of soul and character of students.
