Abstract
This research aimed at knowing what teachers believe about learning, the strategy they used in class and the activities they did to improve their professional skills. The research subject consisted of teachers of elementary school, high school and vocational school from five different districts: Pare-pare, Bantaeng, Bulukumba, Barru and Takalar, The data collection was done by using a questionnaire. The result showed that teacher tried to improve their professional skills by doing some learning activities such as reading new articles on education and trying new learning strategy. It also showed that teacher believed that school, learning, and the strategy they used in class would give positive influence to their students.
