Abstract

This article discusses teacher self-evaluation as a tool that can be used to support better teacher-students interactions in order to improve school academic culture. Teacher self-evaluation report is a process in which teachers make judgements about the adequacy and effectiveness of their own knowledge, performance, beliefs, or effects for the purpose of self-improvement (Airasian & Gullickson, 1997). The main purpose of this article is to explore the potential of teacher self-evaluation report as part of the professional development in supporting teachers to be aware of their teaching approach to improve teacher-students interactions for better academic culture.
